As our Porridge (Dalia) is neutral flavour you can make a savoury dish and spice it with vegetables and your favourite spices OR make a sweet dish with milk and nuts. HOW TO MAKE Put 50g of Dalia in a cooker and put 1/2 tablespoon of Desi Ghee/ Butter/ Oil and saute on low flame for 1/2 minute (30 seconds). Put 1.5 cups (250ml) of water and steam for 2-3 minutes. SAVOURY TASTE Saute the finely cut vegetables (Beans Cauliflower Carrot etc.) in a fry pan. Add salt and pepper according to your taste. Add steamed Dalia in the pan and stir-fry for a few minutes. Garnish with coriander. SWEET TASTE Add steamed Dalia to milk add pinch of cardamom powder and sugar to taste and boil for 2 minutes. Serve it in a bowl.* Get 2 Packs of 500gm eachWheafree Rice Noodles - Pack of 2 (200g each)The product in display is lactose and soy exempt and is made with rice salt potato starch corn starch sago xanthan gum edible vegetable oil. It has a shelf life of 6 months. It comes in a food grade laminated pouch. Keep away from sunlight in a cool dry place. Cooking Directions Quantity- 200gms Serves- 2 Cooking Time- 10 mins - Boil a pot full of water. - Carefully separate the noodle cake into three parts. - Once the water is boiling hot add the noodle cakes into the pot and also add one tbsp of oil to avoid them from sticking together. Now cover the pot with a lid. - Boil the noodles for about 5-7 minutes on high flame and do stir them in between. - Now take off the lid and check your noodles. When you see the noodles floating above the water and on touch they feel slightly undercooked take it off the flame. - Drain the water and rinse the noodles under cold water to remove the starch. Once you are able to see the noodle strands separately stop rinsing it. - Now put the noodles back into the empty pot/ separate bowl and toss them with 1tbsp of oil to prevent clumping. - Heat 1tbsp of oil in a separate pan on medium heat. - Till the time the pan is getting heated up take half a cup of water (175ml) and add to it the Wheafree masala mix that is provided to you in the pack. Now stir the powder thoroughly so that there are no lumps. - Once the pan is heated add the boiled noodles to it followed by the water containing the masala dissolved in it. If you prefer your noodles soupy you can add slightly more water to the pan. - Stir the noodles with a light hand and continue cook it for 2-3 minutes on a medium flame. - Add salt and pepper to taste. - If you like you can add salted/ fresh butter to enhance the flavours. - According to your taste preference you can add to your noodles fresh/ lightly sautéed vegetables and any gluten free sauce that you have.
