Different from the usual sugarcane and date-palm jaggery we are used to eating. Must be authentic coconut jaggery. Color also matches that of coconut jaggery (as I confirmed from various sources online and offline). Tastes good. Gives off coconuty flavour if heated (during use in cooking) - further confirms coconut as the source. Good job, Urban platter !

All HoReCa packs must come as refill packs. That should be the norm as it puts less strain on our pockets. The jaggery is already too expensive. And more to that you're adding the cost of plastic bottle to the mix. Please have a separate jar and refill packs. The jaggery doesn't have the smell of coconut but as some reviewers told to toast, I did smell coconut. So, it might be genuine but do compare with locally produced coconut jaggery. I bought this because there's no stock available locally where I live. So, for the time being this'll have to do. When compared with what we usually get, this is cleaner without any fibres but does have a reduced coconutty flavour. Also, this doesn't form lumps after opening. It's dried well so it lasts for about a month before it absorbs moisture again.
