Advantages
Just got this frying pan -26 size and very happy with it 1. Super sturdy and has a nice weight 2. The handle is nicely fixed with rivets 3. The pan lid is nice thick glass 4. It is easy to clean and non drip, just cook on low or medium flame TIP: to remove the sticker from the pan inside, put it on gas for 30-40 seconds on medium flame and it will peel off nicely on its own. If there is gum residue on the pan, just put 2-3 drops of ghee or oil and gently rub it off with a paper tower or a piece of cloth. It will come right off. Very happy with this buy.

Not sure if it's our fault ..but experience of making dosa on this triply steel pan was not easy . It's much more comfortable to make dosa on a non stick .
Comment
Not suitable for making dosa

Good product ruined by that sticker of hawkins in the center. It required vigorous scrubbing under hot water to remove that sticker. better to put just a paper rather than a sticker.
Comment
The reason of 2 star - that sticker they placed in middle of pan

I have triply pans from Stahl, Vinod and Indus valley. This was my first one from hawkins. The pan is of very good quality. The base heats up quite uniformly despite the large size (26cm). The handle is also decent. The lid is slightly heavy. The pan is also very handy to make roast varieties of nonveg food. It's great to make parathas and theplas /thalipeeth due to its large flat surface. Costing almost 20 percent less than other known brands, this pan is a great but.
